Content  –  This picturesque song is about a tatty old stable full of cobwebs, which is suddenly blazing with light when a special baby is born.  As the animals look on in amazement, the shabby, dusty setting is transformed by light, joy and the arrival of newborn Jesus.  A lovely, evocative song for infants at Christmas time, that paints a vivid picture of the scene. Verse 1 is repeated, so it's effective to have it sung first by a soloist or small group, then everyone else joining in.
