This lively nativity follows a group of bored donkeys whose lives are transformed by a journey to Bethlehem. Full of humour and heart, it brings the Christmas story to life for children aged 5–9. Two scripts are included: a simplified version for younger children and another for ages 7–9.

The Donkey Seller has had no customers for ages, and his donkeys—Nudger, Cheeky, Gazer, Snuggle, Bouncer and Prince—are tired of waiting for something to happen. Then Mary and Joseph, shepherds, sheep and three grand kings arrive, all needing donkeys for their journey to Bethlehem. Suddenly the Donkey Seller is rushed off his feet!  Then, when angels appear with news of a very special baby, all the donkeys rush to the stable to join the celebration. At last, no one is bored!
