Theme – Nature, weather, movement in the wind
_____________________________
Content – The lyrics describe the movement of trees, their branches swaying softly as a gentle breeze passes through them. The simple actions of turning, rocking and dancing encourage children to move calmly with the wind. The very peaceful feeling of the song becomes almost mesmerising at the end. There is a 20-second dance break between the first two verses.

Dancing with the wind in the gentle breeze.
Dancing with the wind underneath the trees.
Turning gently round, making not a sound.
Turning gently round, making not a sound.
Dancing with the wind in the gentle breeze.
Dancing with the wind underneath the trees.
Rocking side to side as the wind blows by.
Rocking side to side as the wind blows by.
Rocking, rocking.
