Content – It's snowing. Will the school be closed? As snowflakes drift down, children are always eager for a 'snow day' - everyone wishes for their school to be closed so they can get out and build a snowman, or have a snowball fight! Full of fun, and very popular with junior age children. There is a simple modulation - between the verse and chorus and back again - which is very easy to follow.

Lyrics Sample
Dark’ning clouds above the town,
Snowflakes drifting gently down,
Pavements turn from grey to white:
Will the school be closed?
Waiting for the news to come,
Asking Dad and asking Mum,
‘Can we stay at home today?
Will the school be closed?’
We want a snow day! We want a snowball rumble!
It’s no day to stay indoors and grumble.
Don’t care if we should fall or stumble.
Please, please, please, please – close the school!
Slipping, sliding everywhere.
Freezing cold but we don't care...
