From the moment Jim Hawkins opens Billy Bones’ sea chest, his life is changed forever. He discovers a treasure map that marks the spot where a notorious pirate, Captain Flint, has buried his loot.
Jim becomes a cabin boy on The Hispaniola, a ship bound for Treasure Island, with the purpose of finding buried treasure! He meets many colourful characters on his journey, including Long John Silver, the one legged ship’s cook. Although Long John Silver befriends him, Jim isn't sure whether he is trustworthy.
Despite the many challenges that he faces, Jim shows courage and determination in the face of danger. Bravely, he helps Squire Trelawney and his men to win through, and - with the help of island eccentric, Benn Gunn - they defeat the pirates, find Flint's treasure, and sail home triumphant.

Songs catchy, yet challenging Review by Catherine Fern - Peri music teacher, North Yorkshire
I am currently producing two of your musicals, 'The Pied Piper and 'Treasure Island'and 'The Pied Piper. They are so accessible; the scripts are well written and the songs catchy, yet challenging enough for the upper primary age group. Many thanks - keep them coming!
Amazing Review by Jessica - Student, Liverpool
We did this play for Xmas and it was amazing. Everyone loved the songs and we got 5 star reviews afterwards. I say this is a great play and ALL teachers should do Treasure Island.
Children absolutely loved it. Review by Vicky Bates - Teacher, Bedworth, Warwickshire
We were recommended this show by a colleague and it lived up to all expectations. The children absolutely loved it!
Love the songs! Review by Penny Goodall - Teacher, New Zealand
We have started rehearsing Treasure Island - the kids really love the songs and all want to be Long John Silver or Jim. There is a lot of pirate talk going on. Thanks.
Wow, What A Show! Review by Louise Honisett - Music Co-ordinator, Eastbourne
Wow, what a show! Amazing. Staff and children alike had so much fun putting this together, and the feedback from the show has been really positive, the best show we've ever done apparently. Audience participation with 'Just a Little Cheese on Toast' and the calls for the 'Black Spot' was brilliant. rn
